Warmer Home, Smaller Bills
AeroTherm is the new way to a warmer home and smaller bills, with minimal space loss.
By incorporating advanced reflective technology into just a 1mm plaster coating, AeroTherm can transform the comfort level in your home.
AeroTherm is similar to a plaster and can be applied straight on to the walls and ceilings of any home. It is particularly well suited to solid wall properties, which typically have limited options to apply retrofit insulation. The ultra-thin heat reflective coating does more than just save up to 35% on your heating bills, it provides many additional benefits that will transform the way we insulate our homes.
Independently Tested and Guaranteed
- No loss of space
- only 1mm thick when applied
warmer, cosier rooms
- rooms heat up faster and stay warm for longer
- eliminates cold spots providing warmth throughout the room
- helps eliminate condensation & mould, a major cause of skin allergies, asthma and other respiratory problems.
AeroTherm saves up to 35% energy, which is equivalent to the expected energy savings of traditional insulation systems. Typically these internal or external wall insulation systems cost c. £100 – £120 a square metre fully installed. The cost of an AeroTherm installation will be dependent upon your property but will be substantially less than this. This is due to the simple application process of just applying a 1mm coating on to the existing internal walls. For home owners looking for an effective solid wall insulation which is breathable and doesn’t impact on space, there may not be another option
The certification from the independent testing carried out on AeroTherm states that you can under size your heating system by 35% for underfloor radiant heating. This means that if you were to install a new heating system, you could save up to 35% of the upfront installation costs, if you were to also have AeroTherm applied to the property at the same time.
Impressive performance from an ultra-thin internal coating.
AeroTherm uses a combination of aerogel and tiny hollow glass microspheres to create up to 35% energy savings
By quickly absorbing radiant energy (a form of heat), the 1mm AeroTherm coating warms the surface of the walls and works to balance the transfer of radiant energy around the room. By constantly absorbing, reflecting and emitting any excess heat back into the room, it creates “wall to wall thermal comfort”. The quicker warm up times, longer cool down times and more balanced room temperature allows the heating system to reduce its output, providing significant energy savings.
AeroTherm is a very effective wall and ceiling insulation, which is easily incorporated in to any redecoration works.
The installation process is often completed in 2 stages depending on the size of the area. Individual rooms will always take 2 separate days but larger works, such as a full building envelope, can easily be scaled up into a continuous programme, which can then be completed very efficiently.
AeroTherm has been designed as a retrofit insulation which can be applied onto the existing surfaces in your home. The main requirement is that the walls are of a smooth solid substrate, such a painted plaster but a pre-installation site survey is often necessary to ensure the project conditions are suitable. Once any necessary wall and ceiling preparation works are completed, such as removing lining paper or smoothing over rough surfaces, then the AeroTherm application can proceed.
AeroTherm is only 1mm thick because it has incorporated advanced materials with the latest developments in reflective technology to provide a plaster coating which is able to absorb and then reflect radiant heat. This process is very effective at quickly balancing internal temperatures and achieving thermal comfort for the occupants at lower thermostat settings.
Installing the AeroTherm insulation is similar to conventional plastering and once complete is simply re-decorated with your preferred choice of paint or wallpaper. The impressive performance and smooth white plaster finish can be easily achieved by competent plasterers who follow the application guidelines.
